On Monday, May 27th, TNT will present a Memorial Day marathon of the entire first season, beginning at 10 a.m. (ET/PT). The following Saturday, June 1st, TNT will roll out the entire second season, beginning at 10 a.m. (ET/PT). Then on Saturday, June 8th, the day before the new season begins, TNT will present the backhalf of the second season, beginning at 7 a.m. (ET/PT).

EW.com reports that Moonves, during the Q&A portion of Deutsche Bank’s 2013 dbAccess Media, Internet & Telecom Conference in Palm Beach said, with reference to Showtime’s slate, “We have Ray Donovan coming on, with Liev Schreiber, which comes on with Dexter‘s last season starting in June…”

This is not an official statement, but one would think that with Showtime being a subsidiary of CBS, Moonves would have the inside track on this kind of information.

Addressing the notion that people should be able to defend their homes, Rock said “Well, that’s the thing the gun lobby always says. ‘Well, people need the right to protect their property.’ But every mass shooting is done by a guy who lives with his mother. So I honestly believe you should have to have a mortgage to buy a gun.”

Once the laughter died down, Rock continued with “No one with a mortgage has ever gone on a killing spree. Because a mortgage is a real background check. They don’t just give mortgages out. And you know, if you go to jail for 30 years, you still have to pay your f***ing mortgage.”

Netflix and Warner Bros. Television Group have announced that they’ve signed a 2012-2013 Network Slate Deal for Netflix to be the exclusive online home for complete prior seasons of new WB-produced shows Revolution, The Following, Longmire, Political Animals and 666 Park Avenue.

This deal also included the full catalogues of older shows – Fringe, Chuck and The West Wing!

“This unprecedented agreement brings to Netflix members earlier and more exclusively than ever before complete previous seasons of some of the most prominent and successful shows on network and cable television,” said Ted Sarandos, Netflix Chief Content Officer. “Through deals like this, Netflix is making the production economics right for the continued creation of the kind of compelling serialized dramas and thrillers that our members love.”

“SVOD has become an important window for our serialized dramas, allowing viewers a chance to discover a series that before might have been intimidating to tune into mid-run,” said Bruce Rosenblum, President, Warner Bros. Television Group. “We continue to adapt our business models to include SVOD when it makes sense for the long-term value of each show and are thrilled to have Netflix as one of our distribution partners.”
