PWInsider is reporting that Brock Lesnar has signed a two-year contract extension to his contract, which would have expired at WrestleMania 29. This would keep Lesnar in the company through WrestleMania 31.

It’s also being reported that Chris Jericho, who shocked everyone by appearing as the #2 entrant in the Royal Rumble, has signed on for a short-term deal with the WWE that will last through WrestleMania.

Really??? So I guess there is no reason to raise and cultivate young talent when all their time and effort goes into bringing old talent back for a couple of matches. Matt I hear WWE is looking for a creative writer. Can you just go there and make all of our wrestling dreams come true. Then again this is the internet and I doubt we will ever truly be happy with anything they do.

Honestly I think this is great news given how stale the product has been for everyone since WM of 2012. The WWE has continued to push only X amount of people while Punk had the reign (which was great and long over due don’t get me wrong).. But with that failure in pushing talent who can actually talk and cut promos and not have the biggest failure of gimmicks around (Fandango?). Let Brock come, let him be an animal, hell I don’t care if he and HHH go at it again, give me something decent to watch besides some NXT newbies being pushed before their time or some talents that we have seen for months upon months PPV to PPV doing the exact same schtick (Cena).

But just think! We get more Bo Dallas guys – BO DALLAS.

Honestly though? It looks like they have no idea what to do with Ziggler, which is a shame because he’s probably one of their better talents. In fact, I’ve been long since bracing myself for when he does lose his MiTB contract to someone who has already had a number of title chances. (Cena, Orton, Sheamus or even Ryback) At least with the return of Jericho we have a great rival for Ziggler who will give us some outstanding matches.

Like the third Jericho v Punk match from 2/6/13.

Lol. No, brock makes them a ton of money. They are better off with him
